Palm Trees and 80  - Destin Florida

I actually don't have many pictures of Destin Florida. I was really young here.. I didn't really get into photography until I purchased my Canon camera after high school. Destin is my very first actual trip outside of Louisiana. My family and I stayed in a condo for a week. I fell in love with how beautiful Florida was. That beautiful blue water AND the fact that I actually was able to see my bottom half in the water when I looked down. LOL. The people that lived there were also very sweet. Telling me "Good Morning" everyday, and also suggesting us places to eat/what to do. The trip was wonderful but when it was time to leave... I swear I could've just stayed where I was.

Panama City! This day trip was planned with a group of amazing friends. Normally after hours or driving.. the first thing you want to do before exploring, is eat. Well for me it is anyways. Have you ever wanted a job that you could insult someone and not get fired for it?  If you answered yes, well Dick's Restaurant is the place for you. The waitress/waitresses are allowed to be rude to you. If you have a sense of humor, than you'll be fine. Aside from the rudeness, they play pranks on you. I ordered a nice alcohol beverage in a coconut.. he came back with it and said "here's your stupid drink". I went to take a sip and nothing came out. I tried a few more times and still nothing came out. Finally I ended up opening it.... He literally took the bottom of the straw and tied it up so nothing would go through. LMAO! He played all sorts of pranks and continue to mean to us... but the food was great. The whole trip was meant for the beach of course! Once again I was just so impressed with the water. I wont say I would stay in Panama because I did find it kind of crowded... all in all though I did get my beach fix.

Pensacola

Okay I'm just going to start off by saying how BADLY I want to move here. Compared to Destin and Panama I found I was alot more relaxed here.. It wasn't over crowded or anything. I just felt at peace. My family and I took a trip together here for a week in a townhouse. I literally stayed at the beach every single day there except for the Wednesday.... sadly it was raining that day. I also had my very first experience in parasailing which was so much fun. Finally got to cross that off of my bucket list!!!! Pensacola is just so laid back. We became close the our neighbors as well as a very sweet lady not far from where we were staying. This lady told us on our very last night staying... that she really enjoyed us. I get goosebumps thinking about this right now.. But she told us she had been going through a lot of difficult phases of her life and she truly felt that God put us in her life at the right moment. Her smile was so wide and she was tearing up.... we ended up trading our mailing address so we can keep touch with her.  :)
